Position Summary
Manager, Programs
Location: New York City or Detroit, Michigan
Hybrid: 2 In office days; 3 days remote
RISE seeks a highly organized, data-driven and forward-thinking professional who will be responsible for daily coordination and administration of RISE Programs
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Programs, the Manager, Programs will play a critical role in work towards RISE’s mission by managing RISE’s leadership programming in partnership with organizations around the United States, including community organizations, schools, colleges and universities and professional sports teams. The Manager, Programs will be primarily responsible for operations and logistics of assigned RISE programs, with a focus on youth programming engaging middle and high school-aged youth. The Manager, Programs will also assist with data management for the Programs team and liaise across the organization to ensure all departments have the programmatic information they need.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in program management and administration, operations and logistics as well as an understanding of race, racism and social justice.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create and manage materials and resources for programs including program overview documents, curriculum, rosters, etc.
- Manage the scheduling of programmatic sessions with partners and external facilitators
- Maintain participant tracking and administer evaluations via documents and software including Salesforce and Qualtrics
- Liaise with the Partnerships team on stakeholder needs and requests to maximize program alignment to organizational goals and priorities
- Ensure assigned programs adhere to budget
- Manage onboarding documents and payments for external facilitators
- Manage external facilitator travel arrangements
Qualifications:
Required:
- Two years of work experience in program management and administration, operations and logistics preferred
- Proficiency in using Salesforce
- Proficiency in all the capabilities of Zoom for meeting hosting
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to an interdepartmental, interdisciplinary team approach to work; strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned: RISE is a small, growing, entrepreneurial organization and every staff member is expected to provide support to the broader RISE team and adapt as needed to achieve our mission.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive package, commensurate with experience. The Annual Salary range for this position is $50,000-$67,000
