RISE at Super Bowl LVII
For the eighth consecutive year, RISE will host a series of programs leading up to the Super Bowl to raise awareness and inspire action to address matters of racism, injustice, equity and inclusion.
Programming will be held both in-person and virtually for all fans and members of the sports community to access and learn. It includes our Eighth Annual Super Bowl Critical Conversation, Super Bowl Multi-Week Leadership Program celebration, expanded Champions of Change Fan Experience, our Second Annual Representation Matters and special Super Bowl editions of our podcast.
With the national discourse around issues of racism, diversity and inclusion becoming increasingly polarized and mischaracterized, the RISE Eighth Annual Super Bowl Critical Conversation will highlight the urgency for continued education, dialogue and action to address these issues within sports and beyond.
The conversation, moderated by Steve Wyche (NFL Network) will drop on all social channels @RISEtoWIN on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11:30am ET / 9:30am MT, featuring Kelvin Beachum (Arizona Cardinals), Scott Pioli (NFL Network & CBS Sports), and Nona Lee (Truth DEI Consulting). Participants will discuss how using the platform of sports can walk towards creating meaningful societal change. They will also share how they seek to address racism in their communities and explore how sports leaders can unite people around the goals of achieving racial equity, true inclusion and complete justice.
