As a RISE intern and participant in the Summer 2022 RISE Internship Program, you will contribute to RISE’s work promoting social advocacy through sports. Your responsibilities will vary by department and in each departmental position description. All interns will complete project-based work in collaboration with employees in several departments across the organization. The Summer 2022 RISE Internship Program will include professional development programming and support, including connection and collaboration with fellow interns and additional developmental programming including an orientation and goal-setting.
RISE is seeking eight full-time interns for the following positions:

- Partnerships (one position)
- Programs (five positions):
- Programs (four positions)
- Programs Marketing, Communications & PR (one position)
- Strategy & Development (one position)
Collaboratively, the team of eight interns will work on a group project to present to all RISE staff at the conclusion of their internship. It will combine learnings from their internship responsibilities and serve as an opportunity to share their ideas based on their experiences. Compensation and Logistics:
All internship positions will be paid at $19/hr. Candidates will work approximately 40 hours per week. Most work will occur during the regular work hours of 9am to 5pm ET, but work may occasionally be required on nights and weekends. This internship is scheduled to start Monday June 6, 2022 and conclude Friday August 12, 2022.
RISE staff is currently working remotely most days, with one in-office day per week in RISE’s New York or Midwest (Detroit) office. While it is possible the internship position would be primarily remote for many candidates, we will inquire about your comfortability with travel and relocation to New York or Detroit during the interview process. RISE covers all approved work related travel expenses. A stipend may be provided for relocation to New York or Detroit.
